'59 Chevy 1/2 Ton NAPCO

Before paint
After paint

Here's a couple of pictures of my 59 NAPCO panel. The rebuild to date includes:

Goodwrench 350 long block with Edelbrock carb and intake
Mallory ignition, tri y headers
Rebuilt front axle with new wheel and trunnion bearings
new axle and hub oil seals, rebuilt Warn hubs
New oil seals in rear axle
New leaf springs
New wiring with Painless Wiring kit
VDO gauge set with electronic speedo
New electric windshild wiper motor
New firewall pad
Recovered bench seat out of a 57 pickup
Reconditioned gas tank with new sender
35x12.50 15 Big O Bigfoot tires on 15x10 steel wheels
Rebuilt brakes with new dual resivoir master cylinder, new lines, wheel cylinders shoes and drums
3 point seat belts
POR 15 on the frame, axles, transfer case
Rebuilt Deluxe heater

The truck had windows in the sides of the panels in back when I got it. A friend who works in a body shop did the drivers side, I did the passenger side. The dash had a nasty hole in it. I patched in the piece where the radio goes. I've done all the work except for installing the rear springs. This is my first attempt at body work, and I'm learning the joys and mysteries of Bondo.

I'm planning to rebuild the transfer case and tranny.

Thanks again to the group for all your help. Never would have gotten this far without you.   Gary
