Howdy, I just "rescued" this rig from under a tree in New Hampshire. The truck is a 1960 Studebaker 1 ton 4wd, model 5E-14D. It originally had a 245 CID L head six, but it has been replaced by a Stude V-8 with a 4 bbl carb. A T-98 4 speed, transfer case, 5:14 gears and 17.5" rubber rounds out the drivetrain. The truck was a factory stake bed, and a tow boom was installed at some time by one of the previous owners, hence the rather large PTO winch mounted in the bed. Plus it had a hydraulic set up for a snow plow. Since it doesn't snow too much out here in my part of CA, I will probably not reinstall the plow! George
